BE COMFORTABLE WITH THE UNCOMFORTABLE----

In undergrad and during my internships, I kept getting pulled into creative tasks, even though I’ve long identified as a “non-creative” (read: I once said “I don’t do design” out loud).

At first, I panicked. Then I faked it. Then... I actually got pretty okay at it, and actually enjoyed it!

 

Turns out, flexing my creative muscles made me a sharper, scrappier strategist. Now I know how to build ideas that not only make sense on paper, but look and feel right too. I can think in decks, but I can also think in moodboards.
